A Pennsylvania high school basketball team has just received a big boost from the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. The team posted a message on social media Tuesday asking for donations after winning the section championship, but not being provided a bus by the school board to get to and from their next tournament.

The message was shared for visibility by Jesse Marshall, a reporter who covers the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Moments later, Marshall tweeted that he's been told the Penguins will foot the bill for the bus for the Monessen Lady Hounds.
-
The Monessen Lady Hounds later confirmed the news themselves, and said any donations that had been collected prior would be returned.

A great gesture by the Pittsburgh Penguins!
