The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced on Wednesday afternoon that they've fined Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman $4,594.59 for slashing Calgary Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson.

The incident occurred just over halfway through the first period. After the whistle, a scrum broke out Hartman came in and slashes Andersson right on the hand. After that, Hartman sucker-punched Trevor Lewis. Hartman was given four minutes on the play, two for slashing and two for cross-checking.
