In an otherwise limited Wednesday night slate, Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid each scored absolute beauties against their respective opponents. The elder of the two diced up the reigning champion Colorado Avalanche and scored a vintage backhand, top-shelf tally.

Meanwhile, Connor McDavid took the Desert Dogs for a walk and bonked the puck off of G Connor Ingram's melon and scored from below the goal line.
