Last night the Anaheim Ducks lost a disappointing 5-4 overtime game to the Colorado Avalanche. The Ducks came up short and even though they're hoping to finish near the bottom of the standings they still a passionate bunch.
After the final whistle Ryan Strome allowed his temper to get the best of home. After the final goal Strome stood up and threw a water bottle at the official. The Ducks were reportedly upset about a penalty that was called on Frank Vatrano earlier in the overtime period.

After leaving the box Vatrano was also ejected. Today NHL Department of Player Safety announced Strome's punishment.
Anaheim's Ryan Strome has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for unsportsmanlike conduct during last night's game against Colorado.
