Last night, the Winnipeg Jets were in Vegas for game 1 of their first-round series.
Winnipeg skated away with a 5-1 victory, but for Morgan Barron, the real victory was not ending up with a career-ending eye injury.
After a scrum around the net, Barron was pushed into Golden Knights goalie Laurent Brossoit's skate blade. Barron received a nasty laceration to his face, luckily right above the eye.

Barron required immediate attention from the medical staff and had to leave the game. He then returned to the game after needing 75 stitches near his eye.
