Ranger Hire Assistant-Coach

The New York Rangers have officially hired an assistant to Peter Laviolette.

It's the former NHLer Mike Peca.

"Mike Peca will be joining Peter Laviolette on the bench with the New York Rangers."

Peca played 864 games in the NHL and scored 465 points with the Canucks, the Islanders, the Sabres, the Oilers, the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jackets.

We wish him good luck in the challenges ahead for this new chapter of his career!
