The NHL and Gary Bettman have made an incredibly shocking announcement regarding pride jerseys in the league. The move comes after a long season filled with controversy regarding the jerseys.
Bettman Bans Pride Jerseys
Gary Bettman and the NHL have announced that the league will be banning specialty jerseys for the upcoming season. This means that Pride Night jerseys, as well as specialty jerseys for Military, Cancer, and Indigenous nights will all not be allowed next season.
This is a drastic move by the league, and certainly one that won't be popular with the fans. While some will be happy to see the Pride jerseys gone, the removal of Military and Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys will certainly anger the fans.
