The NHL will be moving away from Adidas and will partner with Fanatics to supply thier jerseys for the 2024/2023 season, and fans were not happy about it.

Fanatics has a troubling history of messing up NHL jerseys, from misspelled nameplates to upside down logos, hockey fans were not thrilled by the announcement.

Now that Fanatics has released it's official Stanley Cup Merchandise, it seems that fans' concerns were valid.

Troubling Start

Concern for the Future

This poor start will continue to raise major concerns about the NHL-Fanatics partnership.

The Adidas produced jerseys, while not perfect, were widely accepted as strongly designed, and working with a global company like Adidas gave the NHL more exposure.

Fans predicted that this deal would not go well, and it already looks like they will be proven right.
