Trevor Zegras is one of the most famous names in hockey right now and for a good reason. The young forward is constantly pulling off slick moves and trying new trick shots mid-game. Not everyone seems to be a fan of Zegras' antics, however, and a retired NHLer is letting him know how he feels about him.
Sopel Takes Aim at Zegras
While Trevor Zegras' unique brand of hockey is entertaining, it's certainly not for everyone. Retired NHL defenseman Brent Sopel doesn't seem to be a fan of Zegras and made sure to let him know on Instagram.
"You've got what's his face in Anaheim (Zegras). I would take a two-hander to his teeth and love every second of it." - Brent Sopel on Trevor Zegras

Anaheim Claps Back
The Anaheim Ducks Twitter account caught wind of Sopel's message to Zegras and had some fun with the situation.
"😂 Z"

It's clear that the Ducks thought Sopel threatening Zegras was pathetic and decided to have some fun with him. To be fair, threatening a young kid as a retired defenseman is kind of pathetic, and reflects poorly on Sopel.
At the end of the day, Zegras is bringing more fans to the sport with his bag of tricks.

Should Sopel apologize to Zegras?
