The Winnipeg Jets traded Pierre-Luc Dubois away to the LA Kings for a massive return. Part of it was 2017 11th overall pick Gabe Vilardi.

Today, it was announced that they have signed Vilardi to a contract extension.

Vilardi is coming off of a 23-goal 41-point season in 63 games. He will look to build off of his breakout season again with a larger role in Winnipeg next year.
