The arbitrator in the case of Ilya Samsonov has ruled his verdict.

The arbitrator has determind that the salary for the Leafs Goalie to be for one-year, at $3.55M.
Samsonov, the likely starter for the Leafs next season, will be a Free Agent at the end of the season if he does not re-sign in Toronto.
Samsonov, 26 had a 27-10-5 record in 42 Games for the Leafs in the 2022-23 season with a 2.33 GAA and a .919 SV%. Samsonov's re-signing means the Leafs are expected to move Matt Murray, who shared the starters crease, and has a $6.25M salary, with Joseph Woll expected to be the backup, and Samsonov the likely starting Goalie.
Samsonov previously had a one-year contract with Toronto at $1.8M.
