It was just announced that the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL will be retiring Joe Thornton's number 19.
Thorton played two years with Soo where he played strongly amassing 198 points in 125 total games.
Thorton is the only Greyhound to ever go first overall in the NHL draft.
In addition to this, he will one day likely become a Hall of Famer.
