The 2018 Team Canada World Junior investigation is still under investigation by the NHL and has been ongoing since 2022. Recent updates have the NHL on the tip of suspending 5 players in connection with the incident.
Names Are Known
Frank Seravalli has previously stated that he believes a major announcement is imminent in the case, so close that some NHL may already be preparing for the consequences of the suspensions.
After the investigation was announced, all but 8 players released a statement stating they were not involved in the incident, with hopes of clearing their names. We now know, however, that this isn't necessarily the case.
Here is a compiled thread on the 2018 canadian world junior team with the roster, players statements, any information/ updates about all of the investigations: hockey canada's, the nhl's & the london police. this is not an opinion thread, its purpose is access to information.

New Update
In his podcast, Severalli just announced that some of the players who did release a statement are actually on the list of suspended players.
There are some players who said they had nothing to do with this story and made an official statement or asked their agent to make one who are involved.

Clearly, journalists have been made aware of the players who are going to be suspended as a result of the investigation. However, it is even more unclear now to the public as to which players were involved.
Time will tell as we expect a ruling from the NHL soon.
