After some solid moves this summer, the Rangers had one piece to extend before training camp began, and now, it appears it's a done deal.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Rangers and former No. 1 overall pick Alexis Lafreniere have come to terms on a deal that's valued at $2.35 million over two-years.

While he hasn't yet hit his stride, Lafreniere is still full of talent and was once considered a generational prospect, and at a young age, he's still got a bright future, so this reported deal is a great one for both parties.
