The Oilers have goaltender Jack Campbell locked up for four more years and the plan for him has been revealed by Oilers GM Ken Holland.
Campbell's Struggles
Since signing a massive 5-year $5 million AAV deal, Jack Campbell has not proved to be worth it. In his first season with Edmonton, he posted a .888 sv% and a 3.41 GAA which is brutal for any goaltender let alone one making $5 million.
Many are currently unsure of his future in Edmonton but GM Ken Holland has assured fans of what is next for Campbell.

Edmonton's Plan For Campbell
In a recent interview, Ken Holland said the following confirming Campbell's future:
"We're going to start with the seven defensemen who finished last year. The goalies are set." - Ken Holland

This confirms that Campbell and Stuart Skinner will at least begin next year with the Oilers. Skinner appears to be the goaltender of the future given how he was one of the best rookies last year.
However, Campbell had a strong playoff performance which means he could have a career resurgence if he stays healthy.
