Recently, reported Renaud Lavoie that Logan Mailloux has received the greenlight to play in the NHL.

Hearing from multiple sources that Logan Mailloux received the green light from the NHL to play for the @CanadiensMTL when his time will come. So this is the end of all speculations regarding his future.

However, Jonathan Bernier of the Journal de Montréal negated these reports himself:

"The Canadiens have not yet received official confirmation from the NHL regarding the absolution that Gary Bettman offered to Logan Mailloux to allow him to play in the NHL." - Jonathan Bernier

Other journalists have added how the narrative seems to have shifted since Lavoie's orginal reporting.
