Bill Daly, the NHL's deputy commissioner and chief legal officer, shared a major development on the league's investigation into the 2018 Team Canada scandal.

New Development on 2018 Team Canada Scandal
We knew that it was going to be a long process, but not this long.
Here we are, almost in September, and there has been no real development on the outcome of the investigation.
Here's what Daly shared earlier today:
"... The investigation needs to take the time it needs to take. We want to do a thorough job and have all the possible information. It's the right thing to do under the circumstances. I believe we should expect to unveil the investigation report very soon."
"Then, as for the aftermath, we are currently in the unknown. At the risk of sounding redundant, it's coming very soon." - Bill Daly
Verdict to Come Soon
Daly repeated it once again: it's coming soon.
Not only will we know the NHL's verdict, but also the police's.
The Ontario authorities will also reveal the truly guilty players who will face the consequences of their crimes.
We can't wait to know who is responsible for the whole situation to put this thing behind us once and for all.
