It was just announced that Tyler Motte has signed a new contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Motte played last year split between the Rangers and the Senators where he played 62 games scoring 19 points along the way.
Throughout his NHL career, he has played 331 games scoring 81 total points. While he is not known for his offense, his defense is stellar and he is known as one of the top penalty-killing forwards in the league.
He will now focus on helping the Lightning win another Stanley Cup and will try his best to ensure that they don't let in any goals.
