The Minnesota Wild announced today that they have signed a First Round Pick to an extension.

Addison Stays In Minnesota

The Minnesota Wild have announced that they have signed Calen Addison to a one-year extension. Addison and the Wild commit to each other for another year while looking at a long-term deal in the future.

The extension has a value of $825,000. Addison played his first NHL-exclusive season in Minnesota this past season. In 62 games he had 29 points. At just 23 years old this contract could be an absolute value steal for the Wild.

Both Addison and the Wild will continue to look to take steps forward after losing in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2023. Addison individually will be looking to increase his point total and impact on the Wild going forward.
