Former NHLer Returns to Hockey

Chris Johnston announced on X that Matt Cooke has found another job in hockey!
Cooke has been named head coach of the Newfoundland Growlers in the ECHL.
Here's Johnston's announcement:
"Matt Cooke has been named head coach of the ECHL's Newfoundland Growlers."
Cooke played 1,046 NHL games between 1998 and 2015 for the Canucks, Capitals, Penguins, and Wild. During that time, he scored 398 points and accumulated 1,135 penalty minutes.
He also won a Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009.
