In their first game of the season, the Blue Jackets were left holding their breath for the health of their star defenseman Zach Werenski.
After a major injury left him sidelined almost all season last year, he was looking forward to come back and play 82 games.
However, he had to leave the ice after a knee-on-knee collision with Garnet Hathaway.

Hathaway was given a 2-minute minor for kneeing on the play."
