Breaking news the Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks have struck a deal that sees a young defenseman going to California.

Addison Traded to Sharks

Calen Addison has been traded from the Wild to the San Jose Sharks for a 2026 fifth round pick. Addison is a former second round pick and has played 12 games so far this year collecting just five points.

As

first reported, Calen Addison is indeed being traded to the #sjsharks. #mnwild will receive a fifth-round pick in 2026, I'm told.

Addison played on the 2018 Team Canada World Juniors team where he collected nine points in seven games.

The 23-year-old defenseman will get a fresh start on a struggling, rebuilding Sharks roster.
