Corey Perry Reveals Why He Chose Edmonton Over Any Other City

Corey Perry's season didn't go according to his plan. After a contract termination in Chicago, the veteran forward finally got the green light to sign another contract in the NHL a few weeks ago. Only days later, his association with the Edmonton Oilers was revealed.

In an interview, Perry shared why he chose the Oilers even if he had many other offers.

According to Frank Seravalli, while the Rangers, Wild and Lightning were in on Perry, he chose the Oilers.

He candidly shared that his 6 year old kid influenced his decision:

The opportunity to join Connor McDavid was simply to sweet to ignore.

Perry will make his debut with the Oilers today, as the team will look to win a 16th consecutive game.
