Hockey and Broadcasting legend Don Cherry, longtime former host of Hockey Night in Canada, has announced the tragic passing of a beloved hockey player at a very young age. The 44-year-old, at one point, played for the Mississauga IceDogs, which Cherry owned at one point.

Scott Page, who played in several well-known leagues such as the OHL, ECHL, and university hockey, has died, according to Cherry. No cause of death was given.
