The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that their defenseman Jake Bean suffered a season-ending injury last night against the New York Islanders.
Bean broke his hand during the game and will miss the rest of the season, according to head coach Pascal Vincent.

Bean, 25, tallied four goals and nine assists in 72 games this season with the Blue Jackets. He will be a free agent this summer, as his $2.33' AAV contract will end after the current season.
The Blue Jackets have once again struggled to remain healthy this year. After major injuries to Adam Fantili and Patrik Laine, it's another young interesting player that fans won't get the chance to see again on the ice this season.
More to come.
Do you think Jake Bean will come back with the Blue Jackets next season?
