Five frontrunners emerge for Bruins Vezina winner Linus Ullmark

The Boston Bruins have a difficult conundrum on their hands with their goaltending tandem of Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman.

Jeremy Swayman took over the starters net for the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs this season, beating the Toronto Maple Leafs and putting up a great effort against the Florida Panthers.

Linus Ullmark won the 2022-23 Vezina Trophy for his best in the league performances.

Having this type of tandem is a massive advantage for the Boston Bruins, but all good things must come to an end, and with Jeremy Swayman headed to restricted free agency (where it is estimated he wants an eight-year deal in the range of $8.3 million annually), the Bruins can only realistically afford to keep one.

Linus Ullmark is the much more likely one to move, considering he is older and is in the final year of his $25-million deal with the Boston Bruins, but his no-trade clause makes things difficult.
