LA Kings forward Arthur Kaliyev has reportedly asked GM Rob Blake for a trade per NHL insider David Pagnotta.
The LA Kings have a wealth of talent in their forward core. With players like Anze Kopitar, Quinton Byfield, Trevor Moore, Kevin Fiala, Adrian Kempe, Philip Danult, and Pierre-Luc Dubois, it makes it hard for younger players to get ice time.
Forward Arthur Kaliyev boasts a wealth of offensive talents yet does not play much because of the players ahead of him. Insider David Pagnotta has shared that Kaliyev has reportedly requested a trade away from the Kings.
"The Los Angeles Kings will look to trade Arty Kaliyev again this summer. The pending RFA has asked for a trade and GM Rob Blake will try to move him – perhaps package him in a deal for an upgrade elsewhere on the roster." - David Pagnotta

Kaliyev is coming off of a brutal season where he scored only 7 goals and 15 points in 51 games. He was averaging under 12 minutes a game when he played and clearly needs an opportunity if he can succeed at the NHL level.
Hopefully, a change of scenery can help the young winger break out and establish himself amongst the elite talent in the NHL.
