Alex Ovechkin exposes his teammates' bad habits in new interview
Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin has exposed his entire team for drinking tons of beer in the team's dressing room.
Ovechkin went viral in 2018 when his team won the Stanley Cup, as he was seen partying like no other player ever has before, and found himself pop up in countless amount of photos and videos for the entire world to see all over the internet.
We all knew Ovi loved to party, but he's now exposed the rest of his team for a totally different reason.
Ovechkin was asked by blogger and his friend Amiran Sardarov about the presence of alcohol in some locker rooms, and Ovi didn't hide anything. He stated that he enjoys having a few beers after a game, and said every other player does too, and even went on to call out those who claim they don't drink!
He continued, «I can't imagine a [player] who says he doesn't drink, 'he quit.' You can take a break for a certain time, but after the game, 2 to 3 cans of beer – with pleasure. It's useful. In Washington, we have a refrigerator with beer in the coaching room. It's normal.»
Ovechkin went as far as dragging his head coach in this too, saying there's a beer fridge right inside the coach's room.
When Ovechkin was asked why he is so fond of beer, he wasted no time in describing the real benefits of a nice cold alcoholic beverage.
