Carolina Hurricanes drop major Alexander Nikishin update that changes everything
Alexander Nikishin got the update Carolina feared, and Rod Brind'Amour now heads into Round 2 without clarity on one of his newest defensemen.
The Hurricanes made it official Sunday when team PR confirmed Nikishin was diagnosed with a concussion after Game 4 in Ottawa.
