In the last few minutes, a huge piece of information was released about Jeremy Swayman's salary aribitration hearing on July 30th.
Swayman's Arbitration Filings Revealed
Elliotte Friedman just reported that the Bruins' number two goalie asked for $4.8M, and Boston filed for $2M.

This is a major discrepancy between the parties!
Swayman was shadowed by Linus Ullmark's Vezina-winning year, but was a key factor in the Bruins historic season.
In 37 games, he had a 24-6-4 record, a 2.27 GAA and a .920 SV%.
They can still reach a deal before the 30th, but with that gap, it would be surprising to see that happen.
