It was just announced that the Boston Bruins have extended forward Trent Frederic.

$2.3 million per year is a tad rich considering Frederic's role and production.
Frederic is coming off a 17-goal, 31-point campaign. Originally a first-round pick in 2016, he is only now starting to adjust to an NHL role in the Bruins' bottom six.
