The renowned insider Frank Seravalli reported some big news earlier today.
1100-Game Veteran Retires
Seravalli announced that Paul Stastny is retiring from the NHL after 17 years.
"I thought I saw Stastny mention somewhere that he's retiring."
An official announcement should be made in this regard before the start of the next season.

Stastny's Career
The son of the legendary Peter Stastny played 1145 games in the NHL for the Avalanche, the Blues, the Jets, the Golden Knights, and the Hurricanes. He scored 822 points, including 293 goals, in his 17-year career.
