Kyle Dubas could have potentially ruined his chance at landing one of the best free agents still on the market.
Dubas' Offer To Tatar
Currently, Tomas Tatar is one of the best free agents left on the market and is heavily linked to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
However, the Penguins may have blown their shot already.
-
My info on this since late last Sunday has been Penguins are keenly interested, but it might come down to if Tatar gets a guaranteed deal elsewhere opposed to a PTO for camp in Pittsburgh (with expectation he gets a contract).
It seems that the Penguins are quite interested in Tatar yet are not willing to offer him a guaranteed contract instead settling for a PTO.

What Tatar Brings
Tomas Tatar is a reputable middle-six forward who offers a solid amount of secondary scoring.
Coming off of a season where he scored 20 goals and 48 points, Tatar is more than worthy of an NHL contract.
In addition to these totals, Tatar has career highs of 29 goals and 61 points which any NHL team could use.
If Pittsburgh can land Tatar, he would slide into their second line and play alongside Evgeni Malkin.
As seen on Blade of Steel - Kyle Dubas disrespected former 29 goal scorer with professional tryout offer
Will the Penguins sign Tatar?
