Merkley Heads To China
The Kunlun Red Star have just announced that they have signed 2018 1st-round pick Ryan Merkley to a contract.

Merkley was originally selected 21st overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2018 draft but after failing to adjust to the NHL level, he was traded and stayed in the AHL. In 39 career NHL games, he has 1 goal and 6 points.
He will look for a fresh start with Kunlun in the KHL.
