The Avalanche are one of the perfect teams for a player like Tatar. Scoring 20 goals and 48 points last season, Tatar is the perfect complimentary scoring option. He could slot into their middle six and even help out on the powerplay.

Details are still being finalized, but the expectation is that free-agent forward Tomas Tatar will sign a one-year deal with the #avs.
Could be a sneaky good September signing.
