The Senators have not been off to the worst start to the year as they sit one game under .500 with a 4-5 record through 9 games despite significant players missing time. However, this is only good enough for last place in a tough Atlantic division. Now it seems that their season may be getting a little tougher.

Senators Announce New Injuries

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed tonight on X that the Senators have two new injuries players are dealing with.

Both Grieg and Kastelic were injured tonight as the Senators fell to the Kings 3-2 at home. The good news for Senators fans is that both players are only expected to be out short-term. The Senators will be back in action Saturday as they face another tough matchup when they host the Lightning.
