RUMOUR: Young Star Rangers Forward's Career May Be Over

The New York Rangers have been one of the best teams in the league this year. However, the team may be without one of their young forwards permanently.

John from Big Apple Hockey gave us a concerning update on Chytil's status yesterday. Not only could he be out for the remainder of the season, but it seems like the situation could be much worse.

Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette gave an update on his status yesterday confirming that his return date to the NHL is still in question. Chytil currently remains in New York for a period of physical rehabilitation.

Chytil has just six assists in ten games this season. He hasn't played since November 2nd against Carolina.
