Full Criminial Charges Confirmed for Jordan Dumais
One of the most highly regarded NHL prospect has found himself in trouble with the law.
Blue Jackets' Top Prospect Jordan Dumais Gets Arrested For Driving Under Influence
Halifax Mooseheads' Jordan Dumais was arrested for driving under the influence earlier this month. As a consequence, the Mooseheads have decided to suspend him for five games.
He will need to appear in court and face two charges: operating a vehicle under the incfluence, and operating a vehicule over the alcohol limit of 0.08%.
"BREAKING: Jordan Dumais, Columbus Blue Jackets prospect and star forward with the Halifax Mooseheads, has been charged by police with DUI."
This incident is particularly disappointing given Dumais' successful past in the QMJHL and the potential for a promising hockey career. His actions have now put that future at risk.
"Dumais, who has had a chaotic season with highs, injury lows, has now been hit with a 5 game suspension for «off the ice» activities. I've seen rumors about what went down but not going to speculate. I hope the ship gets righted because he's a solid rockstar hockey player. #CBJ"
