Matthews turns on Marner as Leafs are booed off at Scotiabank Arena

The Toronto Maple Leafs had everything going for them tonight - a return of William Nylander combined with TJ Brodie's series debut.

Unfortunately, everything went wrong tonight, with a serious lack of effort from the core four, as well as a terrible defensive performance.

Now biggest foe Brad Marchand, who turned the tides of game 3 with his penalty drawing antics already has two points after two periods.

This is a disaster in Toronto, and the fans responded briskly with loud boos to end the second period at Scotiabank Arena.

As this occurred, the Core 4 fought on the bench, and Mitch Marner threw his glove in anger.
