It's official; former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe has been hired by the New Jersey Devils to be their bench boss.

Sheldon Keefe, who spent a decade in the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, being unable to make a deep playoff run with Auston Matthews, John Tavares, William Nylander, and Mitch Marner, was fired after the Leafs were eliminated by the Boston Bruins in the first round.

He has now been hired to coach a new team filled with stars, notably Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, Timo Meier, and Dougie Hamilton.

Here's a little nugget for you: Sheldon Keefe will be the next head coach of the New Jersey Devils. @spittinchiclets

This will be an exciting new chapter for Sheldon Keefe - and we will finally found out if he was the problem or if it was his players! This New Jersey Devils team needs a new voice, and hopefully Sheldon Keefe will be the solution.
