A Canadian team emerged as frontrunner to acquire the Boston Bruins' goaltender Linus Ullmark.

Yesterday, two goaltenders changed teams: Jacob Markstrom was traded from the Calgary Flames to the New Jersey Devils for Kevin Bahl and a 2025 first round pick, while Darcy Kuemper was traded to the Los Angeles Kings by the Washington Capitals for Pierre-Luc Dubois.

It looks like another trade could go down soon, as the Ottawa Senators are reportedly pushing to get the 2022-23 Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark.

After another rocky season, the Senators are once again looking to make big changes this summer. They've already hired a new GM, head coach and President, but it seems that they also plan on making a splash in the trade market.

The Senators' goalies Joonas Korpisalo and Anton Forsberg had a terrible year and ended at the 31st rank in the NHL. They seem poised to add a goaltender this summer.
