There have been many wild stories in the world of hockey, but this one may be the wildest of all, as a 28-year old has been arrested after impersonating a teenager and laying a brutal hit on one during a game.

The sport of hockey is one of the toughest to play in the entire world regardless of the opponents skill, so at 15-years of age, it's hard to imagine going up against an opponent that is 13-years older than you.

That story sounds wild on the surface, but it's what recently happened in France, when a 28-year old was impersonating a teenager, and unfortunately he was allowed to play against them.

Unsurprisingly, the story doesn't end well, as Dominique Roux laid a brutal hit on his opponent resulting in a major injury, and given the major physical edge he has on players 13 years his junior, it's very lucky that more damage wasn't done to his opponent.

You can see a video of the brutal hit below.

Following this, many parents began to get highly suspicious of the situation, and ended up reporting him to the authorities, where 28-year old Roux was promptly arrested, being charged with fraud, as****t, and child endangerment.

It's unclear how a clear 28-year old was able to bypass anyone at the league and be allowed on the ice, but he was a clear danger to those around him with the physical advantages over players almost half of his age.

Ultimately, it's a good thing that he was arrested, but not before he caused serious harm to an opponent, and if not for this hit he could have lasted much, much longer in the league before doing much worse damage to another player, so we hope that we never have to hear a story like this again anytime soon.
