Shane Wright's future with the Seattle Kraken keeps getting murkier this summer.
According to Daily Faceoff's Anthony Di Marco, general manager Jason Botterill has been actively shopping the young center.
The Philadelphia Flyers pushed hard for Wright's services earlier in the offseason, per the report, but nothing has materialized yet.
Wright put up 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points over 74 games this past season, going plus-6 with two game-winning goals.
His production cooled down the stretch though. Just one goal and two assists over his final 10 games, and he went minus-1 in that span.
NHL Rumour Report posted the report straight from Di Marco on X, laying out exactly where trade talks currently stand between the two sides.

Botterill's rebuild puts Wright on the trade block
Botterill took over as Kraken GM in April 2025, and shopping a former top-six piece already says plenty about where his rebuild stands.
Wright still carries a cap hit of just $886,667, the kind of bargain price tag that should make him easy to move if Seattle wants futures back.
