Aatu Räty might not last a day on waivers if the Vancouver Canucks ever expose him, and one Vancouver voice doesn't think it's close.
Robinson made the case on Sekeres and Price this week. "That guy looks like potentially one of the best, like, 4Cs in the league if you work him right," he said.
He didn't stop there. Robinson believes the center "looks the part of an everyday NHL player," and that rival pro scouts would notice fast.
His prediction was blunt. Other teams will see the 23-year-old on the wire and say, "Let's pick him up. We need a 4C."
In the clip, Robinson keeps circling back to the same two characters, 4C, like a scout who already filed his report.

The numbers make it a tougher sell. Räty finished 2025-26 with four goals and 14 points in 66 games, going minus-4.

Calling him one of the league's best fourth-line centers is a stretch on that production. But Vancouver shouldn't risk finding out which rival agrees with Robinson.
Waiving him would be like tossing your spare tire because you haven't had a flat lately. You only miss it when you're stuck on the shoulder.
There's more to the résumé than last season. The Finn put up 52 points in 72 AHL games with Abbotsford in 2023-24.
He followed with 40 points in 43 AHL games in 2024-25, splitting that season with the big club.
Career-wise, he's at 28 points over 114 NHL games since the Islanders drafted him 52nd overall in 2021.
Tuesday's 3-1 loss in Calgary didn't move the needle much. He played 16:09 with two shots on goal and went minus-1.
Manny Malhotra is still sorting through a camp that's opened 0-2. The Canucks host Edmonton on Thursday.
And here's the irony. Vancouver holds first waiver priority on everyone else's players, but that does nothing to protect its own.
If Räty ever lands on the wire, Robinson's prediction gets tested right away. The rest of the league won't need long to decide.
