BREAKING: Milan Lucic Enters NHL Player Assistance Program

The Milan Lucic saga continue in the wake of his arrest for domestic violence over the weekend and the league has issue the next steps for the Bruins forward.

Steve Conroy, Bruins beat writer for the Boston Herald, posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon with the announcement that Lucic would be entering the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program.

Lucic was arrested on Friday night after allegedly pulling the hair of his wife Brittany during a dispute.

He appeared in court on Tuesday, where it was noted that his wife denied that he had choked her, as had been originally reported.

Lucic pleaded not guilty on suspicion of assault and battery on a family member, a charge which carries a maximum penalty of two and a half years in jail.

He will remain on indefinite leave from the Bruins, with whom he played four games for in his return to the club this season.
