It may not have lasted long, but it was a good tilt. During the game between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators tonight, two guys who like to drop the gloves squared off at centre ice, and it didn't end well for one of them.

Montreal's Pezzetta Handily Beats Ottawa's MacEwen in Fight

The Canadiens Michael Pezzetta and the Sens Zack MacEwen decided to try and liven up the game a bit with a scrap. They felt each other out for a bit, before MacEwen steps in to throw a big punch. However, he stumbled a bit, and Pezzetta clearly saw his opening, hitting MacEwen with at least four solid uppercuts. MacEwen attempted another swing, but both went down pretty hard, and that's when the officials stepped in. Pezzetta then pumped up the crowd after putting on his performance.

Senators MacEwen Takes Several Punches from Canadiens' Pezzetta

MacEwen was bleeding as he left the ice. It appears at least one of those uppercuts caught him on the bridge of the nose.

I'm not convinced this one is over yet. MacEwen can't be happy with that showing and he's likely going to try another round in this game, or the near future. I'm sure Pezzetta will be happy to oblige, as he never seems to be back down from a fight. He doesn't always win them, but he never says no.
