Luke Richardson Warns Connor Bedard Following Emotional Outburst During Game

While Bedard's emotions and competitiveness surely helped him get where he is today, he mustn't lose control.

Love the #fire & #passion but yeah, don't go punching the boards, Bedard

Not only does this fuel the opponents, he could've gotten injured.

The coach addressed Bedard's reaction and gave him the following advice:

"It's great to have emotion and use that as motivation," Richardson advised, "but it's crucial not to let the other team see they're getting under your skin. Show no emotion, and let them be frustrated that they can't get to you."

Bedard, who's still only 18 years old, will gain in maturity in the next seasons, but he won't lose his passion and his desire to win.
