In what appears to be a crackdown on certain language, the OHL has suspended another player for breaking the league's Code of Conduct in a recent game.

It seems players may take some time to get the message, but the OHL is clearly cracking down on certain types of language it wants out of the game. Landon Sim of the London Knights is the latest player suspended for breaking the OHL's Code of Conduct.

The OHL has released a statement saying Landon Sim is suspended indefinitely while it conducts a thorough review of what happened.

A report from the Hockey News states Landon Sim's suspension resulted from something that happened during a game against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Sim got called for a penalty by the officials and was then kicked out of the game following words said to an opponent and the referees.

"It's unclear what and why Sim said what he said, but you can see the referee motion over to London's bench and throw him out of the game at the end of the period."

Landon Sim is an agitator who likes dropping the gloves. This is not his first suspension from the OHL. He was given a five-game ban during the playoffs last season for a remark made to an opponent that the league didn't like.

Less than a week ago, another OHLer, Ethan Hay of the Saginaw Spirit, was suspended five games for a remark made to an opponent. Like it or not, the OHL seems to have it out for certain terms, and players are going to have to learn to avoid them or face the consequences.
