The Utah Hockey Club are playing in their first game in Toronto on Sunday, but due to unfordseen circumstances, they almost had to postpone their matchup.

This season has been a historic one for the Utah Hockey Club, and while they've slowed down significantly as the season has gone on, posting an 8-9-3 record, they have been plenty of fun to watch.

Now, for the first time since the relocation from Arizona, the Utah Hockey Club head to Toronto to play in the only NHL game on Sunday, but unfortunately, things didn't quite go according to plan.

On the way to the arena, there was reportedly too much traffic in Toronto, causing the official Utah HC social media account to post this video.

In the video, players and staff can be seen walking to the game, and while it was mostly safe and a good move for the team to make, it could have been disastrous as they face the already tough challenge of the Maple Leafs.

This has been a major complaint for Maple Leafs fans and the city of Toronto for quite some time now, and with some other major events going on in the city, it's just absolute mayhem as people try to get to Maple Leafs games.

Thankfully, the team calculated things well and ended up in the arena on time, with the teams deadlocked at 0 early in the game as the NHL's newest team looks for a statement win on a massive stage.

Even radio broadcaster's for the team got involved in what was a very unique experience, and while all's well that ended well, it's safe to say that the NHL and the Maple Leafs would love to somehow remedy this problem in the near future.

For now though, fans should enjoy unique situations like this as the team clearly did.
