Utah Hockey Club Hints at Rebrand for Next Season
Following months of branding work and meetings with the NHL board of governors, Utah Club president of hockey operations hinted at the team's upcoming rebrand.
Utah Hockey Club has gathered a lot of attention in their first season, breaking sales records when their inaugural jerseys finally hit the shelves. Utah President of Hockey Operations Chris Armstrong stated that the branding team has been working overtime to ensure that all deadlines are met while creating a lasting club identity.
However, team owner Ryan Smith has maintained that Utah will have their official team name for their second NHL season, and following a meeting with the Board of Governors, this seems to still be the case.
Moreover, Armstrong added that the team is nearing some final decisions, indicating that he is hopeful for all processes to conclude early in 2025.
Despite this possible early completion, the team is more focused on ensuring Utah has a solid finish to the season, and any rebrands will be unveiled afterward.
With Utah Hockey Club now sitting at 20th in the league, the momentum they maintain on the ice over their incoming rebrand may just be enough to launch them into this season's playoffs.
